Krazy Glue Receives a WORST Rating
Krazy Glue from Elmer's has made our Worst Product List due to changes they've made in the design of their Instant Krazy Glue packaging.
At an approximate cost of three dollars or more for a mere .07 ounces of glue (2g), Elmer's should never have modified the old container which worked just fine.
Though the design changes are not evident to the eye, they are painfully evident to the consumer.
After your first use, you'll need to replace the small green plastic cap which has a pin on the end. The purpose of this pin is to clear a possible clogged pathway which can occur due to the nature of the glue sealing the plastic opening -- an understandable situation since the pen itself is made from a porous material.
The real problem is that the manufacturer has changed something in the physical makeup of this package/pen which previously worked fine. Now, after only one use, when you try to remove the green cap (if you can remove the green cap), the pin remains stuck inside of the pen making it impossible to dispense any more glue. As a result, your purchase is only good for one initial use.
Elmer's should have left everything about their Krazy Glue package/pen the way it was. We're guessing this newer package/pen presented some sort of cost savings to the manufacturer. Otherwise, why would they change it?
Shame on you Elmer's. Bring back the old materials so that your loyal consumers can get more than one use out of their three dollar glue purchase.
